The clothing during summer season (May – October) should include a light jacket
and a light sweatshirt, some headwear and sunglasses. If you use a specific type
of sunscreen it’s best to take it with you. We provide a normal 50 SPF sunscreen
on board.
During winter (November – April) you should bring sunglasses, a warm sweatshirt
and a warm jacket. If it’s less than 12 degrees it’s best to bring a warm hat.
Even though we provide everything for hands hygiene, like towels etc., there’s
always a chance of getting some dirt on your clothes. We recommend not
wearing expensive apparel. You can also bring a spare shirt just in case if you
need to change.
We provide beverages, there are both non-alcoholic and low alcohol drinks (beer, cider). We don’t allow strong alcohol due to safety reasons. You can bring low alcohol drinks with you. Snacks (crisps, nuts) are also included in the tours.
No, you don’t have to bring anything. We have everything needed on board, including bait. Our team will always help you and give an advice on any peculiarities and details of successful fishing.
No, you don’t. All the licenses are included in the tours. Our team is an official member of the Portuguese tourism association and buys all the licenses for our
clients.
Yes, we provide a unique opportunity to try fishing during our normal 3-4 hours tour in Cascais zone. You can do it on board right during the tour without extra payment. We will give you one tackle set and up to 1 hour of fishing experience.
We carefully track weather conditions for the nearest week and we try to close the days when rain, strong wind and waves are expected. But it’s the Atlantic Ocean, so the weather can unexpectedly change 2-3 days beforehand. If the tour is paid and the weather conditions get worse 1-2 days before the trip, we will always warn you and do a full refund.
The ocean in Cascais is cold (16-21 degrees) so it is allowed, but not recommended for safety reasons. You can always discuss it with our skipper.
If during our tour you decide that you want to prolong your experience and the company is able to do so on that day, we will absolutely do it. In that case, the extra payment is only available in cash on board.
It’s best to arrive 15-10 minutes before the start of the tour. In case of delay, the time lost will not be compensated.
Yes, it is, but it shouldn’t be later than 48 hours before the start of the tour. In that case all the prepayment will return to your bank account. If the cancellation is made later than 48 hours before the tour, you will not get a refund.
